  2. (spatial) to reach a location, arrive, get to
  3. (temporal) to come
    Ҡыш етте.
    Qış yette.
    Winter has come.
    Көнө етер, ергә яңы пәйғәмбәр килер.
    Könö yeter, yergə yañı pəyğəmbər kiler.
    The day will come, (when) a new prophet will come to the earth.
  4. (age) to come of age
  5. (fruits, cereals) to ripen, get mature
    Synonym: бешеү (beşew)
  6. (hair, nails) to grow long enough to require a cut
