   • 1992, พระราชบัญญัติให้ใช้บทบัญญัติบรรพ ๑ แห่งประมวลกฎหมายแพ่งและพาณิชย์ที่ได้ตรวจชำระใหม่ พ.ศ. ๒๕๓๕:

     มาตรา ๑๗๖ โมฆียะกรรม เมื่อบอกล้างแล้ว ให้ถือว่า เป็นโมฆะมาแต่เริ่มแรก และให้ผู้เป็นคู่กรณีกลับคืนสู่ฐานะเดิม ถ้าเป็นการพ้นวิสัยจะให้กลับคืนเช่นนั้นได้ ก็ให้ได้รับค่าเสียหายชดใช้ให้แทน

     Section 176 Once avoided, a voidable act shall be deemed to have been void from the outset and the persons who are parties thereto shall be restored to their original positions. Should such restoration be beyond the bounds of possibility, the parties shall be compensated with damages instead.
