Etymology
[edit]Akin to Erzya -со (-so), Finnish -ssa (inessive suffix) (which in some dialects is -sa). Originally likely based on Proto-Uralic *-na and an internal locative infix -s- of uncertain origin but possibly from the lative ending *-s.
