@JohnC5: there's a problem with using {{grc-epi}} and {{grc-tra}} inside of {{grc-adecl}}. Should we just do without it? --Barytonesis (talk) 11:19, 8 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Barytonesis: Well theoretically they should be in separate dialectal tables... —JohnC5
@JohnC5: I agree regarding Epic, but Tragic probably belongs with Attic. We don't have separate forms defined for it in the modules. I'll see if Module:grc-decl/table can be made to not destroy existing links. — Eru·tuon 05:37, 9 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Added a better pattern for detecting Ancient Greek forms. Let me know if there are undesirable consequences. — Eru·tuon 06:58, 9 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Erutuon: Your changes have broken the situation where parentheses are in the middle of the word. I'm not sure we have any such words via the natural declension process, but I think such forms are entered manually from time to time, and that should be allowable. —JohnC5 07:55, 9 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
@JohnC5: There, I've rewritten the pattern to allow for any number of parentheses in the middle or end of the word. (It isn't picky about whether the parentheses are balanced. Parentheses at the beginning of the word aren't allowed. Those would require more than one pattern, I think.) I kind of dislike the idea of parentheses in the middle of the word, but such a situation shouldn't be treated buggily. — Eru·tuon 08:46, 9 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Erutuon: Thanks. There use to be examples of this in on of the Homeric templates. —JohnC5 08:53, 9 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
