What about "can"? Overwhelmingly, it's "can" what corresponds to this word. Perhaps, what is written now it's enough concerning sense, but concerning usage what will you say. Longbowman (talk) 14:01, 18 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Past tense mistake?

[edit]

@Atitarev I think the masculine singular past tense form is a mistake, should it not have an l in it? —Rua (mew) 10:08, 17 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Rua: Nope, it is right, compare also лёг (ljog), тёк (tjok), берёг (berjóg). l (or its cognate) is absent in Ukrainian and Belarusian as well in similar forms. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 11:04, 17 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
There are currently few errors in conjugations if any, especially for such basic words. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 11:06, 17 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
Interesting and unexpected, thanks! —Rua (mew) 11:15, 17 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Rua: No worries, dropping l is not so uncommon: засо́х (zasóx), пови́с (povís), привы́к (privýk), etc. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 11:33, 17 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
