- Is it different from other members of Category:Chinese_terms_written_in_foreign_scripts ?
- Leaning towards delete. Though it is commonly used in Chinese texts, it's not exactly Chinese. I guess the argument for phonetic adaptation is probably the only one that would support keeping. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 00:18, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Are unadapted borrowings considered to not belong to the language into which they're borrowed? Think of how many one-for-one French terms are used in English to the same effect, albeit with Anglicised pronunciation, like how I guess is being done in this Chinese word. I don't know if it's Chinese, but if it's being used in Chinese writing, as opposed to a Chinese equivalent, isn't that enough to qualify it as being a Chinese word? I would personally keep this.
