I would be interested in knowing the legitimacy of this verb, since I cannot find it in any other dictionary; it would be indeed useful to have such a verb, but it seems that "apply a logarithm to a function", or "applying a logarithmic transformation" are so far the most correct forms of expressing the idea. Therefore, it would be interesting having sources for the origin of this verb. Thanks
