pronounciation[edit]

hi! m-w.com says that the "shiny-sch" is just "usually" used in UK... wiktionary says, that UK only uses the "shiny-sch" and never the "school-sch"... should we change that? thx. bye. --Homer Landskirty (talk) 22:25, 9 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yes, you do get the /sk/ pronunciation in the UK. Don't know if it's a recent Americanism or just a rarer variant.
