Talk:scorn

The verb is defined with 3 meanings:

1. To consider something as contemptible or unworthy
2. To despise something
3. To scoff or express contempt

It seems to me that #1 & #2 are the same - they mean to feel scorn, wheras #3 means to express it.   Can they be merged? —— Saltmarsh 04:20, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
