  • Today, in some parts of Batangas, sense month is pronounced as búwan ( /ˈbuan/) while moon is pronounced as buwán (/buˈan/). Both senses were pronounced búwan around the 19th century according to the Spanish dictionaries but now both buwán in Standard Tagalog.
