  1. (Internet) A website offering an unfolding story in the form of blog posts, images, short videos, etc. posted at intervals.

      How do you make money from a webisodic? The business model for online entertainment remained elusive.
    • 2004, Carolyn Handler Miller, Digital Storytelling:
      Many developers placed their hopes on a form called the webisodic, a story-based serial told in short installments using stills, text, animation, or video. The first such webisodic, The Spot, debuted in 1995 and was an enormous hit at the time.
