From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] English Gibraltar, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Arabic جَبَل طَارِق (jabal ṭāriq), meaning Mountain of Tariq, who led the Umayyad conquest of Hispania, starting in 711.
