Usage notes
[edit]The base letter may be either alveolar ⟨n̼ t̼ d̼ θ̼~s̼ ð̼~z̼⟩ or labial ⟨m̼ p̼ b̼ f̼ v̼⟩; the choice may be based on phonological analysis. When the base letter has a descender or another diacritic, a diacritic above ⟨◌⟩ may be used instead, for example with ⟨p⟩.
