Perhaps a u-type and m-type reduplication of հեղձ- (hełj-) +‎ -ուկ (-uk); compare աղջամուղջ (ałǰamułǰ). Or from հեղձ- (hełj-) +‎ -ա- (-a-) +‎ մղձուկ- (młjuk-).
