From the root ف ل و (f-l-w).

Verb

أَفْلَى (ʔaflā) IV (non-past يُفْلِي (yuflī), verbal noun إِفْلَاء (ʔiflāʔ))

  1. to have colts (فَلُوّ (faluww)) that have been ablacted
  2. to enter the desert (فَلًا (falan))
