Borrowed from Biblical Hebrew אֲבַדּוֹן (ʾaḇaddôn, destruction, ruin).

Ἀβαδδών is not used in the LXX, rather ἀπώλεια (apṓleia) or sometimes ἀπόλλυμι (apóllumi) is used as a translation of אֲבַדּוֹן.
