Variation of 1@Side-PalmBack (β€œone”), made with same twisting motion as other ordinal numbers in ASL.

  • This one-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
    1. Posture the dominant hand in the β€œ1” handshape about half an arm’s length in front of the shoulder, palm facing forward.
    2. Supinate the hand by twisting it so the palm faces back.
    3. Posture the dominant hand in the β€œ1” handshape about half an arm’s length in front of the shoulder, dominant palm facing back.
