For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Groß-Germersleben, Erntekinderkrippe der LPG Zentralbild Biscan 15.7.1955 Ernte-Kinderkrippe nimmt Bäuerinnen und Landarbeiterinnen die Arbeit ab. Neben dem schon seit Jahren in Groß-Germersleben, Kreis Wanzleben, bestehenden Kindergarten wurde für die Sommer- und Herbstmonate noch eine Ernte-Kinderkrippe eingerichtet, in der Kleinkinder bis zu drei Jahren Aufnahme finden. Die Mütter können so unbeschwert und frei von Sorgen an der Einbringung der Ernte teilnehmen. UBz: In der Ernte-Kinderkrippe: Peter Herbing (Sohn des Agrnomoms des Volksgutes) hat sich in ein Wägelchen gesetzt und Horst Brauer (Sohn eines Genossenschaftsbauern der LPG "Bördeland") zieht ihn munter durch den Garten.
