English: The fushou (Chinese: 覆手 / 复手) of a yueqin.
The fushou (whose name literally means "to turn the hand palm down") is a part of some lute-type chordophones from China and elsewhere in East and Southeast Asia, to which the strings are tied through holes. The fushou is usually made of hardwood or bamboo and is glued to the instrument's soundboard near the tail of the instrument.
