Etymology
[edit]From *mr̥duš (“mild, soft”) + 𐎴 (n /-naʰ/, nominal suffix) + 𐎡𐎹 (i-y /-yaʰ/, adjectival suffix).[1][2] Compare with Sanskrit मृदुता (mṛdutā) and मृदुल (mṛdula).
