Where?[edit]
In what region of what country do people
- go straight from winter clothes to summer clothes, with no period of wearing spring clothes in between?
- feel it's important to ignore the weather forecast in deciding what clothes to wear on a given day, at least until June?
Furthermore, there seem to be at least three interpretations of "til May be out":
- until the start of the month of May (i.e. May has emerged)
- until the end of the month of May
- until mayflowers have emerged
The etymology keeps all of these interpretations open, but the given definition implies that only 2 is valid. — Smjg (talk) 15:35, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
