This template is a quotation template for the Polish-Silesian newspaper Jaskółka Śląska/Ślōnskŏ Szwalbka. It can be used to give Silesian and Polish quotations. The following parameters are used:

  • |1= The language code of the quote that is given (szl for Silesian and pl for Polish)
  • |2= The issue.
  • |3= The text of the quote
  • |4= The English translation of the quote
  • |year= The year of the issue.

The following optional parameters are also present:

  • |page=, |pages= The page number(s) of the text
  • |lit= The literal translation of the text
  • |author= The author of the quote
  • |title= The title of the piece the quote has been taken from
  • |trans-title= The English translation of that title
