From English cannibal, borrowed from Spanish caníbal, from Taíno caniba, the (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Taíno form recorded by Christopher Columbus for the Caribs, who were greatly feared. From an (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 1 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "awd" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E. language, probably (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Taíno.
