Romanian

Etymology

From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Greek παστρεύω (pastrévo), possibly through a (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Bulgarian intermediate пастря (pastrja). Compare Albanian pastroj, Aromanian pãstrescu, spãstrescu. An alternate theory deriving it from Latin *parsitāre is unlikely [1].
