From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *sjāutā, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *sau̯i̯eto, with a metathesis. Cognate to Welsh hwyad, Old Cornish hoet (“id”), Breton houat (“id”).[1]
