Etymology

Secondary formation in as-<*atja, based on (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *wera, related to Greek εἴρω (eírō, to say), Hittite [Term?] (/⁠u̯erii̯a⁠/, to sound).[1] Probably related to bërtas.
