Armenian[edit]

Etymology[edit]

An Ardeal dialect word.[1][2] Borrowed from some Slavic descendant of Proto-Slavic *dъxorь (polecat); note especially Old East Slavic дохорь (doxorĭ). Cognate with Armeno-Kipchak դխոր (tχor).
