- At the moment we are rather inconsistent. We have andare al fresco but not andar al fresco. Conversely, we have andar per acqua but not andare per acqua. I think it can be argued that andare al fresco = andare + al fresco. (I also think that the definition “To go to sea” for andar per acqua is misleading; it normally just means “to travel by boat”.) After getting rid of such sums of parts, how many apoplectic forms would we really need? Is it hundreds? [I have no firm opinion on this deletion request.] --Lambiam 10:09, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
- I think that we should include apocopic forms of the base verb (where they exist) - this sort of thing is just SoP - delete. SemperBlotto (talk) 05:16, 25 April 2019 (UTC)
