From Koine Greek ἐξοχωτάτη (exokhōtátē), superlative of ἔξοχος (éxokhos, “excellent, worthy, eminent”), Semantic loan from Latin eminentissimus (“most eminent, most excellent”), from eminens (“eminent”).
