Derived from Persian بخش (baxš, lot, portion, section).[1] Cognate with Turkish bağışlamak.

بَغِشْلاماق (bağïšlāmāq) (third-person singular aorist بَغِشْلارْ (bağïšlār))

  1. (transitive) to give, gift, donate
    اُلْ مَنكا اَتْ بغِشْلادىِOl maŋā at bağïšlādï̄.He gifted me a horse.
