Etymology[edit]
From the root ܛ-ܒ-ܚ (ṭ-b-ḥ) related to slaughtering. Compare Arabic طَبَّاخَة (ṭabbāḵa) and Hebrew טַבָּחָה (ṭabbāḥâ).
