Borrowed from Persian تر و تازه (tar-o-tâze), from تر (tar, moist) +‎ و (o, and) +‎ تازه (tâze, fresh). Compare Punjabi ਤਰੋਤਾਜ਼ਾ (tarotāzā) / تَروتازہ (tarotāzh).
