Cognate with Hindi पीना (pīnā), Marathi 𑘢𑘲𑘜𑘹𑘽 (pīṇẽ), Punjabi ਪੀਣਾ (pīṇā), Nepali पिउनु (piunu), Bengali পিয়া (piẏa)
