Etymology[edit]

Inherited from Old Gujarati *क्सिउं (*ksiũ), from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀓𑀻𑀇𑀲 (kīisa). Probably from a form of Sanskrit कीदृश (kīdṛśa).
