This is a productive suffix, as in ⠏⠻⠉⠧ perceive (pe͡rcv), but in addition combine with ⠙ d, ⠗ r, and ⠒ con- for the further contractions ⠙⠉⠧ deceive, ⠗⠉⠧ receive, and ⠒⠉⠧ conceive.
