     In response to French magazine Closer publishing photos of British Prince William’s wife Princess Katherine topless, the British Royal Family on the 17th sought a decree from a French court to ban publication of the photos, and is seeking to charge the photographers who took the photos with criminal violations of privacy.

     Municipal pool managers announced on the 9th that the rules have been clarified to acknowledge from now on anyone, including women or people of nonbinary gender identity, will be allowed to swim topless.
