Aromanian[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Probably from Vulgar Latin -idiat, inflexion of -idiō, ultimately from Ancient Greek -ίζειν (-ízein), used as an infix in Aromanian conjugated forms of verbs. Cognate with Romanian -ează. See -edz.

Suffix[edit]

-eadzã

  1. used with a stem to form the third-person singular present and third-person plural present indicatives of some first conjugation verbs. E.g. lucreadzã from lucredz, bãneadzã from bãnedz, mbuneadzã from mbunedz, etc.
