Indicates the position of the liver.

  • This one-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
    1. Posture the dominant hand in the “bent B” handshape just below the right side of the ribcage, where the liver is located.
    2. Tap the fingers lightly against the abdomen a couple of times.
  • Note: This is one of the few ASL signs that is always made with the right hand, regardless of which hand is dominant.
