This is a big category. I will suggest to split it up in two categories: pinyin written with accents and pinyin written with tone number. Kinamand 15:07, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think we can have a bot do that deed - just tell it that anything with a number goes on the one cat, and and anything without goes in the other. bd2412 T 00:56, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Then I will suggest the following names for the two new categories: "Mandarin pinyin with accents" and "Mandarin pinyin with tone numbers". Does anyone have better ideas? Kinamand 07:07, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I think that will work fine. I'll go ahead and execute the task. Cheers! bd2412 T 18:30, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Could you also do something similar with Category:Mandarin nouns? Kinamand 04:54, 9 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

yánlì is not a toneless Pinyin syllable, and it is a Pinyin word but not a Pinyin syllable. So, it should not be included in this category. Engirst 12:25, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
