Category:Hiragana characters + Category:Katakana characters

[edit]

The hiragana & katakana are by definition purely Japanese. Consequently we've got a useless redundancy with Category:Japanese_hiragana + Category:Japanese_katakana. JackPotte 21:18, 24 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Not necessarily. They are used for other languages too, like the tons of dialects of Ryukyu and of course the Ainu language. However, it should be Category:Hiragana script characters and Category:Katakana script characters to conform with {{scriptcatboiler}}. -- Prince Kassad 19:14, 26 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
So we should add into their definitions these hypernyms, with their ISO code {{ja}} and {{ain}}...
