Words should go in main dictionary, not category[edit]
Thise category is currently being misused to contain the actual words. The words should be added to the actual dictionary and this category identified in the dictionary entry. --David Woolley 23:59, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
Just to clarify[edit]
'Kunjechi' does not actually mean younger sister - that would be anujatthi. Kunjechi is used by some people if they have more than one older sister to refer to the younger one(s). --Grammatical error 19:08, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
malayalam word for doctor[edit]
hi, can anyonme help me out to find the exact malayalam word for DOctor.
- Well, people normally just say "doctor". There's also vaidyar വൈദ്യര്, but that only refers to "doctors" specialising in traditional ayurvedic disciplines. There probably is a word for the other sort of doctor, but it's not used much and you'd need a Malayalam dictionary. --Grammatical error 05:11, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Lemma adding bot[edit]
@Vis_M, Illustrious Lock, Zelib143, Cyrohdn3, Kirank567: hey so how can we get a bot to add lemmas? There are 1000s of lemmas so it would be better to get a bot to bring them from R:ml:Warrier, Gundert's and ml wikt. There seems to be User:SinonquoiBot adding Burusho lemmas and User:Bot-Jagwar adding en wikt Malayalam lemmas to Malagasy wikt. AleksiB 1945 (talk) 18:00, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
- @AleksiB 1945 I think that should be done manually to ensure quality. I was planning to do it, but then thought adding to d:Wikidata:Lexicographical data/Malayalam first will be better. Note that R:ml:Warrier is copyrighted, and also that these dictionary data are not in structured form. Vis M (talk) 05:01, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
