- A city in the northern Czech Republic, on the River Elbe.
Usage notes[edit]
The city has had a chequered history, being part of Germany, then Czechoslovakia; the German name was Tetschen, later Tetschen-Bodenbach under Nazi occupation, Bodenbach being across the Elbe from Tetschen.
