    • 2012, Miles Augustus Navarr, Forbidden Theology: Origin of Scriptural God, page 108:
The term Desposyni in Greek means 'Heir of the Lord', but seems to have been invented after the crucifixion of Jesus and relates specifically to those who were of the direct descent of Jesus or blood related through his mother. [] According to Father Martin, the Jerusalem Church only referred to direct descendants of Jesus as Desposyni, and they became known by this title throughout the Roman Empire.
