- (astronomy) the Milky Way (the galaxy which contains the Solar System)
- visas pie debesīm redzamās zvaigznes ietilpst milzīgā zvaigžņu sistēmā, un to mēs parasti saucam par Galaktiku jeb Piena Ceļu ― all stars visible on the sky belong to a huge star system, and that (star system) we call Galaxy or Milky Way
