- (history) A city, mentioned in the Iliad, situated north of Leontio in Corinthia in Ancient Greece.
- 1830, William Martin Leake, chapter XXX, in Travels in the Morea[1], volume III, page 350:
- Orneæ seems to have been situated very near the southern side of the plain of Ai Ghiórghi.
