would terms ending in 'ing' without the -g be listed here? I pronounce facin' "fas-sin" for example..— This comment was unsigned.

Sure, facin' should be here, imho. There was some discussion a while back whose conclusion was that such words are to be included in Wiktionary if attested, just like any other word.—msh210 00:00, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

hmm, is there a MoS guideline on this? I can think of quite a few additions if these words are to be included, but should they be sorted with them since they're slang terms and may not apply to all accents? (don't know if they do) 120.17.171.107 00:39, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

probably more too. 120.17.171.107 01:32, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How many of those are attested? For example, I see no Google Books, Google Scholar, or Google Groups hits for "necklacin". (Of course, necklacin' may be attested anyway, but I doubt it.)—msh210 19:32, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I dunno I just went through the list of verbs and made a list of most (may have excluded a few) with -cing and -sing, I did not think the attestation would apply to the abbreviated form but rather e.g the form necklacing 120.17.206.103 02:05, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
