-iu and -il[edit]
Although it is much greater the number of Portuguese-speakers who do not distinguish "-iu" and "-il" endings (and ditto for all other vocals except "o") than those who do (basicly: all Brazilians do, the rest of us don’t), maybe a noto to the effect could be added to this page.
