Whether "Czechoslovak" or "Czechoslovakian" is more common is unclear.

  • "Czechoslovakian" google-beats "Czechoslovak" in the phrases "Czechoslovakian girl" and "Czechoslovakian Wolfdog".
  • "Czechoslovakian" beats "Czechoslovak" in full-text search of English Wikipedia, in the number of hits.
  • "Czechoslovak" comes on par with "Czechoslovakian" in Google web.
  • "Czechoslovak" beats "Czechoslovakian" in Google books.

One problem with these searches is that the two terms are used in a noun and an adjective sense, which the search cannot distinguish. "Czechoslovakian" is marked in Wiktionary as dated when used in a noun sense. --Dan Polansky 14:49, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
