Etymology

Thank you for your corrections and cleanup @Fay Freak. Does the second paragraph concern this λέσχη (léskhē) lemma? Would it belong to λέχομαι (lékhomai) -or as Bailly2020 λέχω?
Could I also ask -but do not bother with this if you are busy-: was there ever a connection of λέσχη to λέγω (légō, “speak”)? I cannot find anything like that. At the Greek translation LSK:Liddell-Scott-Konstantinides, we found a connection of λέσχη to λέγω.C=speak. I suspect, that what happens is this: 'λέγω.Α'=lie down shown here is probably a misprint of λέχω marked as λέγωΑ. To worsen things, they connect their λέσχη with λέγω.C.=speak, probably a further mistake (at least they should connect with the misprint λέγωΑ=λέχω. mynotes on this. @Sarri.greek: It sounds all reasonable. I am not as much read in Greek etymology, nor Greek, as you want to imagine, so I don’t usually know about native connections having been made or not. But Hjalmar Frisk, which is the etymological dictionary that should be used more than Beekes, seems explicit that the meanings of “talk or gossip” are hypostasis from usage such as ἐν λέσχῃ (en léskhēi), ἔλλεσχος (élleskhos, “commonly talked of”) being “heard in the couches”, πρόλεσχος (próleskhos, “chatty”) “inclined to sit or lie at the couches and talk”.
