The meaning of general[edit]
Hi I want to learn ukrainian so I don't know that much about that word
It seems it is only "general" in a military sense
What about"general" in brouder terms like in "in general, or generally"
I think if it is not what it means we should have a page redirecting to another wikitionary with the word "general" with the meaning "generally" in disambiguiation PuppetBoy55 (talk) 10:24, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
- It's not how it works.
- Look up the English parts of speech and senses, general#Noun or general#Noun. Check if there are translations into your target language - there may not be any if nobody added (yet). Entries define what they mean but not what they DON'T mean. генера́л (henerál) means "general" in the military sense only, only for a noun.
